Match report

With five games left of the season, we welcomed Huntly to Heathryfold.

We started brightly and should have taken the lead within ten minutes, but Chris Mackintosh’s header was cleared off the line.
Both sides were pretty evenly matched for the first 35 minutes and neither could create many chances.

On 40 minutes Ross Davidson had a great chance after a superb through ball from Terry Johnston but the keeper made a great stop.

Half time (0-0)

The second half could only get better, and Chris Smith almost opened the scoring within 5 minutes of the restart. But his shot from inside the box was just inches past the post.

It looked like a goal was coming; Terry Johnston whipped in a brilliant ball from a corner the keeper somehow miraculously pulled off a double save from 2 headers to keep the score at 0-0

Substitute Rickie Moir found himself through one on one with the keeper but missed the target as he was put under pressure from a defender.
Rickie had another great chance 2 minutes later when the ball fell to him inside the box but his snapshot was just inches over.

Full Time (0-0)
